PT Advance Medicare Corpora Supports the
Success of Lentera Uro II in Kupang
Jakarta, November 1, 2025 — PT Advance Medicare Corpora participated in the 2nd LENTERA URO event by broadcasting a Live Surgery ECIRS (Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery) from Siloam Hospital Kupang to the Harper Hotel hall in real time through the KARL STORZ OR1Air system, supported by the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature of the KARL STORZ Camera System. This technology allows participants to follow every step of the procedure without being inside the operating room, enhancing the effectiveness of urology education.
The event served as an important platform for sharing knowledge and innovations, particularly in managing complex kidney stone cases spread across multiple renal calyces. Using a single camera system, the operator can access and clear stones from all areas of the kidney simultaneously without changing instruments or camera position, resulting in a more efficient procedure.
Symposium participants also had the opportunity to directly observe the latest ECIRS techniques through the use of OR1 and AIDA the integrated digital operating room systems from Karl Storz. OR1 AIDA enables the integration of all surgical and endoscopic devices into one centralized control system, facilitating automatic documentation of surgical images and videos while ensuring high-quality live surgery transmission and secure patient data management.
All activities in the operating room can be recorded and displayed in real time to various locations, including the symposium hall, making the learning experience more interactive and comprehensive especially for educational sessions such as Lentera Uro II.
