Enhanching Surgical Equipment Optimizition, Refreshment Training
Unit / Device at Eka Hospital PIK
Jakarta, February 11, 2026 — PT. Advance Medicare Corpora once again conducted a Refreshment Training Unit / Device session at Eka Hospital PIK. The program was attended by the Operating Room (OR) Team and the Biomedical Engineering Team of EH PIK as part of a shared commitment to maintaining performance and optimizing the use of medical equipment within the hospital environment.
This training aimed to provide a refresher on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of units/devices utilized in minimally invasive surgical procedures. Considering the high intensity of equipment usage in the operating room, refreshment training serves as a strategic step to ensure that devices continue to operate optimally, safely, and in accordance with applicable operational standards.
During the session, the Advance Medicare Corpora team delivered comprehensive technical presentations, which included a review of the main components of the units/devices, proper handling procedures to maintain optimal functionality, and refreshment guidance to preserve performance and extend product lifespan. In addition, participants received guidance on the early identification of potential technical issues that may arise. The session was conducted in an interactive and collaborative format, allowing participants to share their field experiences and discuss operational challenges they have encountered. This approach enabled real-time discussion of practical solutions tailored to on-site needs. It also helped enhance the team’s confidence in conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and initial troubleshooting in the event of technical issues. Through this initiative, it is expected that the OR Team and Biomedical Engineering Team of EH PIK will gain a more comprehensive understanding of the technical and maintenance aspects of the tower units, thereby minimizing the risk of equipment damage, reducing downtime, improving work efficiency, and supporting uninterrupted patient care services.
